Issuse on namefile.php

Hi, if I try to create a php file, I insert a standard HTML snippet of atom, and then I try to open before the <! DOCTYPE html> a tag , When I press the start button to go to the next line, atom will freeze. But if I stop the emmet plugin, it works without any problems. How can I solve? Has this happened to anyone else?
