Steps to reproduce

When i take a look at the right panel, i see that people -including myself- who are actually online are marked as offline.

Outcome

What did you expect?

People who are online showed as online.

Operating system

ubuntu

1.11.87

flatpak

It happens on any homeserver

Will you send logs?
No

Please send logs, nothing to investigate without it. A lot of large homeservers including matrix.org have presence disabled. Presence works fine otherwise.
