Almost got the npr70 fw with snmp support working, but not quite

I would very much like to use the snmp support to draw a coverage map.
Q1: I managed to compile and upload in one of my npr70.v04 modems with a raspberrypi as remote controller via usb. Using minicom, I can get clean output from the status command, but I get nonsense output when I try to configure the modem and to the display config command. Any idea why thia happens?
Q2: I understand this npr70 fw-version is based on the f4hdk 2020-02-23 version. Any update covering the f4hdk 2020-06-29 version? Any plans to integrate?
