Add tests for all functions, test all scenarios and write better/more comprehensive assertions.

Acceptance criteria:

All functions have tests.
All scenarios are tested. Each by a different test function.
Tests assert meaningful things about function outputs.
Test coverage is higher than 95% (covr::package_coverage())
