I use cryptomator on windows and iPadOS, storing the vault in a nextcloud instance.
On iPadOS (and I believe on iOS as well) cryptomator is caching the vaults, leading to old versions on my iPad when editing some data on windows and opening the vaults on the iPad later.
This is very annoying, since I have to clear the cache every time manually.
Unfortunately, an option to automatically clear cache when the vault is closed will not be implemented. But I don‘t see, why an iOS shortcut to clear cache might not be implemented. This would be awesome since one could automate the cache clearing process.
So, please implement and a shortcut for us storing the vault in a cloud.
Thank you!
Considered Alternatives
The only „workaround“ is manually clearing the cache, but when I forget, the edited data is lost and I have to manually restore an old version of the vault. This is very time expensive if you have to do it multiple times a day.
Anything else?
