Title

Delete "on a spherical Earth" from the definition of the latitude_longitude grid mapping in Appendix F

Associated pull requests

#409 #411

Detailed Proposal

The title says it all. The reason is that there is no default shape for the Earth in CF (spherical or otherwise). This proposal has been agreed according to the rules for changes in the convention following a question asked by @gerritholl, a new contributor.

Please could someone check and merge #409, which is a simple change agreed in cf-convention/discuss#188. Thanks.

I forgot to update the revision history. Sorry. Now there's another PR to do it.
