iReadFast has this, and it seems to allow me to read much faster. Not sure whether it would work above certain speeds, due to how this is a webapp doing DOM manipulation.

I highly recommend testing out iReadFast, as I've not found anything comparable (although I no longer have a mac, and so can't use it myself.)
