Hi -- I find it inconvenient that you have to export annotations manually by each book. I think it would be better to generate a document with all highlights/annotations in the library.
I recognize that this may not be a useful feature for others, so I want to try implementing it myself -- but I don't know where to start. I'm not knew to the world of open source, but I am very new to contributing (I have only implemented one other feature). I'm not worried about learning rust to do so, as I had to learn python for that other feature anyway.
However! I don't know where to start. Say I edit the source -- how do I build it after? I don't understand what the workflow would be. If someone could work me through it that would be amazing. Just a hint in the right direction would be good too.
Thank you for your time, and for making the best reading experience on the kobo devices!
