Describe the bug
Logging claims to start when you enable it in the settings. A notification appears saying that it has started logging, and says the file name that will be used.

To Reproduce

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Do not enable running GNSS in the background.
  3. Go to logging settings.
  4. Enable logging of location fixes (and nothing else).
  5. A (wild) notification appears saying that it has started logging to a new file, showing the file path.

Expected behavior
If it says it has started logging, then it should start logging.

Observed behavior
It has not started logging. You have to go back out of settings before it actually starts logging. The log file is empty.

App, Device and Android version:

GPSTest 3.9.16 (18093-google).
Samsung Galaxy S20+.
Android 12.
