True media management

Any thoughts on adding true media management to posts?

I've been considering using the spatie/laravel-medialibrary package for this.

This could have a number of advantages:

• Cleaner media management through direct model association of assets to posts
• Ability to use CloudFront distributions to optimize delivery of embedded blog media
• Automatic image optimizations and transformations
• Support for multiple resolutions depending on device
• True support for embedded video content

Really good topic. Previous versions of Canvas did have a different media management section, but things changed as time went on. I think this is a great candidate to drop over in Discussions. Would you care to do that?
