Addon doesn't start after new update

Start obsidian with breadcrumbs enabled

@SkepticMystic, Could you please let us know if version 4 will be available soon? We have no choice but to disable it. Beta doesn't work for me.

@NopenAI when you say it doesn't work, is it the issue described in this thread, or something separate? If so, please create a separate issue for that so I can work on it.
I cannot say V4 will be released soon. But if the issue you're facing is an easy enough fix, I could release that under beta

This seems the same as #567, which seems to note that SkepticMystic will be intentionally leaving V3 of the plugin broken.

Really seems like it would just be good to move to V4 if there's no intention of making V3 work with Obsidian's new changes, though I acknowledge that it is not my decision to make :).

I understand what you say, but I see things that way: V4 doesn't work at the moment and likely there's a lot of work to be done. While v1 can be fixed to work with newest obsidian relatively easy, and the problem is well determined. Is that correct?
If so, wouldn't fixing v1 be a better decision, since there are a lot of people who rely on the plugin.

Also if anyone interested, you can downgrade obsidian to 1.6.7 if this is an option.

It's hard to explain why it doesn't work for me because I don't even remember how I set it up to work in the first place. It just worked. The twist in my use case was that I didn't want the wikilinks in the front matter to affect my obsidian graph. So I configured Breadcrumbs to work with just the unique file name. Example:

Launch obsidian and then switch bc on，bc can work correctly. It's just can't load during obsidian launch. Expecting fix for this.

Same issue loading Breadcrumbs on Android both on a phone and a Samsung tablet. Hangs at loading plugins.

I have the same issue, same screen on launch, forcing disabling of the addon.
I'm working on linux mint 21.3, with obsidian 1.7.4, and breadcrumbs is version 3.6.11
It seemed to break after a recent obsidian update, but this was considerably longer ago that two weeks, posted by Cloudplaygit. A month, perhaps? Sorry, didn't note it down.
