The settings for the Threading File Name should disallow illegal characters. took me a bit to figure out the problem 🙈

After that, the dependency on metaedit for the threading feature is nowhere to be documented. :(

Thanks for the issue. I agree that Breadcrumbs should disallow illegal filename characters.

For the MetaEdit issue. There is already a notice telling the user to install MetaEdit... didn't this appear for you?
