I will need to release a new wordpress-saml version using
php-saml 4.X branch rather than 3.X branch

See SAML-Toolkits/php-saml#453

@pitbulk Have you had a chance to look into this? WordPress will be force migrating all WordPress VIP clients to PHP 8.0 by November so I suspect more sites will start running up against this issue.
