Hi! I found the rendered dist/owasp-docker-security.pdf to be rather unpleasant on the eyes when it comes to reading the actual text, probably mostly to the unnatural letter spacing, for example:

owasp_docker_security_pdf_letter_spacing

Same results with evince and okular. GitHub's rendering at https://github.com/OWASP/Docker-Security/blob/master/dist/owasp-docker-security.pdf seems to have the same issue.

When you look more thorough or from a closer distance at it: yes. @PauloASilva put that together using gitbook-cli (see #5).

I am not familiar at all with gitbook, so I rely on others here.

@drwetter I am not knowledge about gitbook internals but, since they rely on Calibre to create the PDF, it is most likely to be an issue with Calibre. I'll have a look to see if there's something we can do to address this.

Cheers,

unnatural letter spacing

.. or like a kerning problem using this font. The example above seems to be equally spaced. But...

Screenshot_20200930_102723

.. in this example the kerning for Y+e feels too strong whereas in "another" all letters seem to be equally spaced.

Wondering whether this is a font issue or something else?
