Onboarding into a metaverse maker org / DAOtown should involve proving you know how to navigate virtual worlds (WASD) and claiming your own avatar. I want people to represent their skills / affiliations on the wearables via badges and pins that we have here: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/3d-skill-role-badges-and-pins-e3329ed59b874aad98586657a5f11630

Backpack = metaphor for interoperable inventory
Avatars = most portable thing between platforms

Task:

  1. making an easy guide / template for selecting reaction roles other discords can adopt

  2. Joining the Dework space, seeing the Featured Roles (level 1 basic membership quest)

Should feel like picking a class in a MMO, which involves seeing what the evolved forms look like

The high level evolutions should have wearables indicative of their powers / skills, for example:

  • when promoted admins could earn a giant ban hammer weapon
  • translators could have flying babel fish pet
  • writers could have a giant pen / pencil weapon or keyboard hoverboard
  • Research designers could have a sick hoodie lab coat
  • Marketing class could have a megaphone wearable
  • Artists could have a giant paint brush
  1. Beginner in-world quest involving picking an avatar, adding wearables / badges / pins, submitting proof (dework / hackmd)
