Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
There are two major problems with the soil energy balance at the moment:

it does currently not take any soil parameters into account.
Turbulent fluxes are not added to the atmospheric energy balance (-> Thomas algorithm?)

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like the model to be revisited and corrected, considering Maclean et al. (2021) or JULES.
