win8 , AMD Atholom

Issue description

versions higher than 0.6 crashes on my old computer, I have tried it on newer computers and it does open but the old PC does not.

I can't say what's wrong because I don't know if there is still a log to upload or look at.

Steps to reproduce

Just open the program on old systems .
